Firefighters battle two weekend structures

Authorities are investigating two weekend fires that gutted a barn and a vacant house.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters from Levelland,  Anton and Littlefield responded to the first blaze at 6:46 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of North U.S. Highway 385.

A barn was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Firefighters from Anton and Littlefield transported water to the site.

The last firefighters from Levelland quit the scene at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a report.
