Lissa Cobb was introduced Thursday as the new Main Street Program coordinator during a Main Street Advisory Board meeting.
‘We really had some great applicants with some wonderful skills,’ Mary Siders, Chamber of Commerce president, said afterwards. ‘She brings excellent organizational and leadership skills to the position, and we are excited to be able to continue the successes of the Main Street Program with Lissa and the awesome and very dedicated Main Street Advisory Board.’
Cobb described herself as a ‘fourth generation West Texan’ who has come back home.
She graduated from high school in Waco and attended Texas A&M University in Commerce. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in training and development, both from that university.
She most recently served as the unit coordinator for Academic Development & Retention at Texas Tech University.
