A city board reviewed two construction projects and recommended the reappointment of two directors to new terms Tuesday.
The Tax Increment Financing Program #1 board heard an overview of the proposed development of 20+acres of land by Jearold Kelly.
The Levelland man said he recently had a survey completed on the property, which is bordered by Sherman and Cedar avenues and Walnut and Maple streets.
Kelly said the property has been organized into 111 lots of different sizes.
‘I could do more but I wanted some big lots to accommodate homes,’ he said. ‘We have all different size lots.’
A design that the board examined showed one entrance on Sherman, another on Cedar and a third one on Maple.
The developer said he is proposing only one entrance on Sherman Avenue because of the heavy amount of traffic there.
