A parade, games and other activities will be part of the fun Saturday, Aug. 3, when the annual Oil Patch Days is staged in Sundown.
The all-day event will start with a parade line-up at 9:30 a.m. at West Second Street.
The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. and proceed west on Richardson Street. It will end at Sunset Park, where all activities will be held.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three Oil Patch themed entries.
Activities during the day will include horseshoe and volleyball tournaments, water games, games for all ages, a bouncy house, a petting zoo and a pony carousel.
Food and craft vendors will also be at the park.
Randy Martin and the Last Call Band will perform live during the evening.
A fireworks show at sunset will cap the day’s activities.
The festivities are being sponsored by the Sundown Chamber of Commerce.
