Thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon brought another round of moisture to Levelland and the area.
Downtown Levelland got .40 of an inch of rain.
Mike Henson said weekend storms dropped more than inch of rain west of Ropesville.
Producer Curtis Thrash said the storms put an inch of moisture in the ground near Arnett, adding that one of his farms received 1.7 inches.
Bobby Neal said he got a tenth of an inch of rain at his farm just east of Whiteface. But an area four miles west of town was hit with 1.25 inches of precipitation.
A half inch of rain fell over the weekend at Morton.
County residents reported the following amounts of moisture elsewhere:
Anton – tenth of an inch.
Citizens-Shallowater Co-op Gin – .40 of an inch.
Long ‘S’ Gin – trace.
Smyer – .20 of an inch.
Sundown .30 of an inch.
