Bids for the interior demolition of a county-owned building were approved Monday by county commissioners.
The total project cost came in at $29,955, said Jacob Kirkland, project manager with Teinert Commercial Building Services.
The low bid for interior demolition was $18,400 from Enco Demolition & Excavation of Lubbock. A bid of $19,250 was submitted by M&S Concrete Co.
That phase of the work includes any capping or re-routing of utility lines.
Earl’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning of entered a bid of $2,000 for plumbing work.
Duncan Heating & AC Inc. of Lubbock submitted a bid of $4,560.
Amco Electric Inc. of Lubbock had a bid of $945 for the electrical work.
Independent Electric of Levelland submitted a $2,100 bid, Kirkland noted.
