Levelland Christian School kicked off its 20th anniversary with a special program last Tuesday in the school’s auditorium.
During the celebration, the history and time line for the Christian school was reviewed and special people, including past and present staff, were recognized. Throughout the evening, God was praised for his bounty in meeting the needs of the Christian endeavor.
The highlight was special presentations in memory of two of the school’s early volunteers, the late Glenn Campbell and Steve Polvado. Their widows, Renee Polvado, who is also a teacher in the school, and Carol Campbell, were presented with plaques which will be placed on the campus and Bibles.
Another gentleman, Jay Eudy, was honored for his continuing good works at the school, including the establishment of the lawn on the campus. Eudy was praised for being an important handy man around he campus, doing everything that needs to be done. He was presented with a Bible.
