Nineteen people were indicted here Thursday by a grand jury.
Aaron Benjamin Provence, 26, of Levelland was indicted for theft of copper.
The Texas Rangers were contacted in July about the theft of copper wire and scrap metal from an Occidental Permian property near Sundown.
An Oxy employee had confronted Provence when he found him picking up scrap metal and putting it in his pickup truck, according to reports.
During the investigation, a Ranger learned that Provence had sold 1,126 pounds of copper, brass and other metals to a local recycling business between October 2012 and July 2013.
The grand jury indicted Sundown resident Arthur Hernandez Rico, 48, for driving while intoxicated.
Sundown police were notified April 12 that a man was asleep in a pickup truck on East Cragin Street.
An officer went to the location and found Rico sleeping in his truck. Rico had alcohol on his breath and there was an open bottle of beer on the floorboard.
