Producers from across the South Plains met at the Mallet Event Center Tuesday to learn more about growing grain sorghum.
The regional Sorghum U was one of four regional meetings being held this month from Kansas to the Gulf Coast.
This was the first to be held on the South Plains this year.
The event was hosted by Sorghum Checkoff, Sorghum Partners, CrustBuster Speed King, Inc. and the High Plains Journal with support from local organizations including Levelland’s Farmers Co-op Elevator, Conestoga Energy Partners and Capital Farm Credit.
Over 100 producers attended the event which began with registration and an opportunity to visit with vendors and one another.
