Missionaries share experiences of trip to India

India is a country of beauty, friendly people and many languages.

It is also a nation where it is against the law to try and convert someone to a different religious faith.

Five people who traveled to India last July on a mission trip shared their thoughts on the world’s largest democracy Thursday morning at Levelland Christian School.

‘India has so many languages, it’s crazy,’ said Julie Mosley of Whiteface. ‘In India every state has its own language.’

Mrs. Mosley said the 50-plus  children who greeted them at a children’s home in Banaglore waited patiently to see the  visitors from the United States.

The visitors took all of the children to a McDonald’s, but no Big Macs – or any other sandwiches containing beef – were served.
