The Main Street program will hold ‘Coffee & Conversation’ for downtown merchants March 11.
The event is the idea of the Economic Restructuring Committee, said Alyssa Nalley, Main Street coordinator.
‘It’s just a way to get to know our merchants better,’ Nalley told the Main Street Advisory Board. ‘It will be easy for them to come and go at their convenience.’
Doughnuts and coffee will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Brasch-Mitchell building, 515 Ave. G.
Nalley said that 47 dozen cookies were distributed this past week to downtown retailers, Nalley said.
The Valentine’s Day cookies were prepared by the ‘Lobo Diner’ at Levelland Middle School, and distributed by Main Street Advisory Board members.
‘We had some good feedback on the cookies,’ she said.
