Trunk or Treat & parade set Friday in downtown

‘Trunk or Treat on Main Street’ will be staged late Friday afternoon, Oct. 31, in downtown Levelland.

The fun will kick off at 6 p.m. with a costume parade around the courthouse square.

It is open to anyone, although young children should be accompanied by an adult.

Those participating in the parade should line up by 5:45 p.m. at the Farmers Market on Fifth Street and Avenue G.

Afterwards, local churches will provide treats for youngsters from vehicles parked on the north and south sides of the square.

Games and activities will be sponsored by the different churches participating in the event.
‘Trunk or Treat’ is scheduled to run until 7:30 p.m.

The event is being sponsored by the Main Street Program, the Chamber of Commerce and the Levelland Ministerial Alliance.
