Levelland school board trustees tabled action on a property bid during a routine meeting Thursday evening.
Trustees learned that the school district received a $1,368 bid for 2.67 acres of land at the former Annex building on Avenue H.
The bid from Western Fresh Water Inc. did not include the building.
Supt. Jeff Northern said the property was appraised at $29,000 last year. The building, which was damaged by flooding this year, is worth nothing.
School board President F.E. Shaheen asked what the district could do if the bid was rejected.
Northern said the district would start the process over again.
