Lawmen seize meth and cash at rural home

Authorities seized 1.2  pounds  of methamphetamine and a ìbrick of cashî Monday night when they raided a home near Sundown.

No one was home when law enforcement officers entered a house on Roughneck Road.

During a search of the property, officers found cash that could total $100,000, according to Levelland police.

The seizure of cash and drugs are believed to be related to the arrests of three men Sunday night on FM 1585.

The men are Gamaliel Salas, 28, of Levelland; Lorenzo Hernandez-Salas, 26, 3733 Roughneck Road; and Belizario Salas, 51, of Levelland.

Each man was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance 1-400 grams, engaging in organized criminal activity and unlawful use of criminal instrument.

Bonds for each defendant totaled  $50,000.
