A murder suspect was arrested Saturday night following an armed standoff with law enforcement officers in Levelland.
Bryan Dale Crisp, 39, was taken into custody without incident in a home near the west side of the City of Levelland Cemetery.
Crisp was arraigned for murder Sunday. Justice of the Peace Brenda Nock set bond at $500,000.
He is suspected of fatally shooting Joel Salomon Garza, 53, late Friday afternoon at the victim’s House Street home.
Garza was transported to Covenant Hospital Levelland where he died early Friday night.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday morning in Lubbock by South Plains Forensics.
Preliminary results showed that the victim died as the result of ìmultiple gunshotî wounds.
Police were dispatched to the 100 block of House Street at 5:52 p.m. in reference to shots fired.
