Community joins in prayer for oilfield

Michael and Dianna Stueart and their children, Hannah and Jordan, hosted a morning prayer  for the oilfield event Saturday at their business, Stueartís Pit Stop.

Stueart, a firm believer in the power of prayer, said that he and his wife were talking about the community prayer event for rain that was held a couple of years ago and they decided that an oilfield prayer event was much needed right now.

‘Dianna said there should be a group gather and pray for the oilfield and the oil families. I posted a post about us doing just that, meeting here today, to gather in Christ’s name and call on Him for His blessings.  His blessings not only for his supernatural intervention in the oil industry, but also for our community and for the upcoming elections,’ said Stueart.

Since the latest downturn in the oil market, an estimated 55,000 jobs have been lost in Texas and economists are projecting another possible 20,000 jobs reduced or lost this year.
