There were no animals in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Levelland EMS, police and the fire department responded to the scene. Hockley County Sheriff’s Deputies were also on scene of the accident.
A black Tahoe was getting onto Highway 114 when it struck the Animal Control vehicle, causing the Animal Control vehicle to roll. The driver of the Tahoe’s name has not been released and the accident is currently under investigation by the Department of Public Safety.
Howard has been released from the hospital and only sustained minor injuries.
