Levelland Fire Department responds to large structure fire

The Levelland Fire Department responded to reports of a large structure fire on Robert Lee Road in Levelland around 3 p.m. Thursday.
The department was still on scene as of 3:43 p.m. and fighting the fire.
Whiteface, West Carlisle and Sundown Fire Departments all responded to the fire.
Atmos, Lamb County Electric and Xcel Energy were all dispatched to cut electricity and gas to homes in the area.
There have not been any injuries reported but at least two homes have been evacuated.
David Corder, emergency management coordinator for Hockley County reported at 4:07 p.m. that the majority of the fire was contained.
At approximately 4:55 p.m. East Ellis Road was reopened to through traffic.
