Update 1:40 pm: The all clear has been given at the School. Personnel are still on scene.
Update 1:10 pm: The Lubbock bomb squad is currently searching the building for explosives or suspicious devices. Officials said the note found inside the school made reference to a bomb which was perceived as threatening.
Update 12:30 pm: Erik Rejino, city manager, who is serving as public information officer at this time, has said the school is not dismissing but parents can pick up their children at the LABC school by accessing Ellis Street at County Road. They will also be asked to return the same way.
The Levelland Police Department is responding to another reported bomb threat, this time at the Levelland Middle School.
Students and staff are being evacuated from the middle school to the Levelland ABC school. A bomb threat was reported Wednesday at the Levelland Intermediate School. No device or explosives were found at the intermediate school.
The middle school holds sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
The Lubbock bomb squad is en route to search the school.
Police are requesting everyone to avoid the area of Alamo Road at Ellis Street.
