Levelland man faces kidnapping charges

Officers will file charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and unlawful restraint with the District Attorney’s Office for the 286th District Court after an encounter with Adam Salazar Flores, 24, Monday.

A woman told officers she had been held at the house for four days after Flores had driven to New Mexico to see her ‘to talk.’ She explained she thought the two were going to drive around and talk until the man began driving back to Levelland.

She told officers she told Flores multiple times to stop and turn back around and take her home, but he never did. She explained that for the next four days he continually grabbed her if she tried to leave.

Flores is being held at the Hockley County Jail on bonds totaling $56,000 for charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, unlawful restraint and two outstanding warrants.
