A Hockley County jury found Alfred Sepulbeda, Jr., 44, guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Tuesday.
The jury spent 44 minutes deliberating before returning the verdict. He was sentenced to 35 years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility.
Sepulbeda was indicted by a Hockley County grand jury in February for manufacture, delivery, of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams.
The indictment was handed down based on evidence recovered by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Department of Public Safety in October 2016. DPS executed a search warrant at 407 Ave. L that led to the recovery of a quantity of methamphetamine.
