South Plains Rural Health evacuated after bomb threat

UPDATE: The all clear has been given following a bomb threat at South Plains Rural Health Services, Thursday.

South Plains Rural Health Services was evacuated following a bomb threat, Thursday.

The Levelland police, Hockley County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to block traffic on FM 300 in front of the building.

The bomb squad with the Lubbock Sheriff’s Office responded and checked the building for any suspicious devices or packages but none were located.

The all clear was given around 3:40 p.m.
