Cochran County Sheriff’s Department searching for escaped inmate

The Cochran County Sheriff’s Department reported two inmates had escaped and one inmate was still at large Sunday evening.

The department reported the two inmates, Refugio Lopez Renteria AKA ‘Cuco,’ 31, and Fabian Duarte Brodayo, 28, escaped from the Cochran County Jail around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. Lopez Renteria was apprehended around 10 p.m. Sunday while Bordayo was still at-large.

Bordayo was described as a hispanic male, 5’9,’ approximately 180 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Bordayo has a cross tattoo on his left arm and ‘Giselle’ and ‘Amaya’ on his left arm. Bordayo was wearing a bright pink jail uniform at the time of escape. Bordayo was jailed for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and escape from custody.
