Philip Mack Worley

Philip Mack Worley, 74, passed away April 1, 2020, in Elgin, Texas.
He was born June 8, 1945, to Harold and Velma Worley in Pampa.
Phil grew up in Levelland and graduated from Levelland High School in 1963, and went on to attend Texas Tech University. 
His college career was interrupted by his service in the United States Navy and his tour of duty in Vietnam.
When he returned to Lubbock, he completed his degree at Texas Tech University with a major in Asian studies.
Phil married Kathy Whittenburg in Levelland. 
He was a commodity trader working in several cities in Texas, San Diego, California and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Phil is survived by his two children, Christine Worley Huber and Philip Mack Worley II; and granddaughter, Danielle Huber, all of Bastrop; sister, Mary Borland of Ropesville; and brother, Mike Worley of Levelland.
A private family memorial service will be held.

    slow hand salute in recognition. Phil and I served together in Da Nang. He was on A-3 jet crews. A great guy. I’m sorry to hear of his passing.
