Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge said the Department of State Health Services provided an update on Hockley County cases, Wednesday.
Judge Baldridge said DSHS has reported three new recovered cases and said they have closed two other cases due to lost contact. The judge said this means DSHS has made numerous attempts to contact these individuals but these individuals are not answering their phone or returning messages left by DSHS.
At this time, Hockley County has a total of 27 reported cases of COVID-19, including 24 recovered, two closed (lost contact), and one death. According to DSHS, there are no pending cases at this time.
