Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge said Wednesday she received confirmation of three new cases of COVID-19 in Hockley County, Wednesday. The first new case involves a Levelland resident between the ages of 40 and 50 and the second case involves a Levelland resident between the ages of 0 and 1. The third case involves a Sundown resident between the ages of 10 and 20 years old.
There have now been 117 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hockley County, including 69 recoveries, 45 active cases and three deaths.
Cochran County Judge Pat Sabala Henry said the Department of State Health Services has reported two new cases of COVID-19, Wednesday. The county has had a total of eight confirmed cases.
The new cases involve Morton residents between the ages of 60 and older and between 30 and 40 years old.
