Five new COVID-19 cases reported Thursday

Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge said five new cases had been reported by the Department of State Health Services Thursday involving four Levelland residents and one Sundown resident.

The Levelland cases involve residents in age groups 40-50, 60-70, 20-30 and 10-20. The Sundown case involves a resident between the ages of 70 and 80.

The new cases bring the total cases confirmed in Hockley County to 122 with 69 recoveries, 50 active cases and three deaths.
