The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees met Thursday evening, at which time Jeff Northern, superintendent, said the district would be releasing a plan next week identifying how the district will be returning to school in the fall semester.
Northern said that after the Texas Education Agency released guidelines on how schools could return to in-person instruction this fall, the district began working on a plan for what that would look like for Levelland ISD.
That plan has been prepared in a rough draft format and Northern said administration will be meeting with principals on all the campuses this week to align it with their needs.
After that, Northern said he hopes to be able to release that plan publicly to parents and students by the end of the week.
