The South Plains College Board of Regents met Thursday via Zoom to approve the reopening plan for the college this fall, and to discuss the budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year.
Dr. Robin Satterwhite, president of SPC, began by telling the board that the plan is a “living document” and is subject to change.
“This is a living document, it will change, I’m certain of it,” Satterwhite said.
Satterwhite went on to say that most of the information in the plan had already been discussed by the regents, including the requirement for students and faculty to wear personal protective equipment in the form of a cloth face covering over the nose and mouth, while in campus buildings and in situations where social distancing is not feasible.
