Six new cases reported Friday, total at 150; 54 active

Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge reported six new cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed by the Department of State Health Services Friday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 150, including 92 recoveries, 54 active cases and four deaths.

The six new cases involved five Levelland residents and one Ropesville resident.

For the Levelland cases, the age ranges were: one case between 20 and 30 years old, one case between 30 and 40 years old, two cases between 40 and 50 years old, and one case between the ages of 50 and 60 years old.

The Ropesville resident was a person between the ages of 70 and 80 years old.
