Back to School Carnival Open at Mallet

     Wright’s Amusements, North America’s longest running carnival will be holding a Back to School Carnival this weekend August 7th, 8th & 9th, at the Mallet Event Center and Arena located at 2320 US-385, Levelland, Texas.
     The carnival will feature three classes of rides including the Avalanche, the Cliff Hanger and a Giant Ferris Wheel, for teens and adults and a Carousel, Mini Monster Truck ride and Charlie Chopper for children. Food trailers will provide traditional carnival food including cotton candy, funnel cakes, hot dogs, corn dogs, roasted corn and turkey legs. A wide variety of games are available with a chance to win prizes.
     “The Back to School Carnival offers some much-needed fun, safe, end of summer entertainment at a time when it is a little more difficult to find,” said John Ring, owner of Wright’s Amusements. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the grounds, carnival attractions are sanitized regularly throughout the day, and attendees are encouraged to wear masks or face coverings.
     The carnival is open to the public from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Rides are $3 per ride and Ride-All-Day bracelets are available for $20.

    It’s fun but it ain’t cheap. 2 corn dogs and 2 funnel cakes were $28.00
