It is with great sadness that the family of Noemi Lozano Barragan, announces her death on Monday, September 14, 2020, at the age of 72.
Noemi was born May 27, 1948, in Banquete, Texas. She was the youngest daughter of Macario and Felecidad Herrera Lozano.
She married Guadalupe Barragan June 20, 1970, in Brownfield. They were married for 50 years.
Noemi was a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had hope in an earthly paradise and resurrection. One of her favorite scriptures was Isaiah 41:10.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed caring for others and was famous to friends and family for her delicious cooking.
Noemi had a generous spirit and made friends wherever she went.
In addition to her husband Guadalupe, she is survived and missed by four children and their spouses: Leticia and Jared Castillo, Abel and Sylvia Barragan, Veronica and Esben De La O, Joshua and Marycruz Barragan; four siblings: Benita Lozano, Dora Trejo, Victor Lozano and Esther Medina; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends that were part of her life.
Siblings preceding her in death include: Juan Lozano, Ninfa Gonzales and Sara Ruiz.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, service arrangements will be held via Zoom on October 3.
