Memorial services for William Henry Mayhaw, 85, of Haskell, formerly of Levelland, are pending, under the direction of Agape Funeral Home of Lubbock.
He passed away September 29, 2020, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
William was born May 25, 1935, to Willie and Nellie Mayhaw in Daingerfield, Texas.
His family moved to Levelland in 1939 and were long time residents before moving to Haskell.
William served in the United States Army from 1956 until 1960.
He enjoyed fishing, dancing and gardening.
William was preceded in death by his father, Willie Mayhaw; mother, Nellie Mayhaw of Levelland; a son, Tony Mayhaw of Haskell; his first wife, Peggy Shirley Mayhaw Hampton; and second wife, Wanda Besson Mayhaw.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon and husband, Dennis Williams of Levelland and Carla and husband, Roger Morales of Mesquite; son, Billy and wife, Melanie Mayhaw of Lewisville; sister, Florence Mayhaw Shoemaker of Levelland; daughter-in-law, Dawn Lewis Mayhaw of Lubbock; grandchildren: Cameron and Melonie Mayhaw of Amarillo and Brent Williams and Kaylee Williams, both of Levelland, Roger Morales II of Mesquite and Tonette Mayhaw Uzzell and husband, Joshua, of Lubbock; and great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Williams of Levelland.
