16 new cases, one new death reported Monday

Hockley County Judge Sharla Baldridge reported Monday that 16 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death had been reported by the Department of State Health Services.

Thirteen of the new cases were Levelland residents, two were Anton residents and one is a Sundown resident.

The age ranges of the Levelland cases include: three between the ages of zero and 10 years old, one between the ages of 10 and 20 years old, three between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, two between the ages of 30 and 40 years old, one between the ages of 40 and 50 years old, one between the ages of 50 and 60 years old, one between the ages of 60 and 70 years old, and one between the ages of 70 and 80 years old.

The age ranges of the Anton residents include one between the ages of 30 and 40 years old and one between the ages of 60 and 70 years old.

The Anton resident is between the ages of 10 and 20 years old.

Judge Baldridge reported the new death reported Monday is a Sundown resident between the ages of 70 and 80 years old.

There have now been a total of 483 Hockley County cases reported, including 355 recoveries, 10 deaths, leaving 118 active cases.
