Estella Perez Almager passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 79.
She was laid to rest in Sinton, Texas, beside her husband, Guadalupe Almager, Sr.
A graveside service was held and she was surrounded by family and friends.
Estella was born on December 11, 1940, to Jose Perez and Adelia Gaytan Perez in Sinton.
She was employed as a nurse’s aide at the Taft Hospital in Taft, Texas, for a number of years.
Estella enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved to visit and catch up with friends.
Estella was a kind and generous woman. She would go out of her way to help out a friend or a loved one.
As a faithful Catholic, Estella was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, the Guadalupanas and a Cursillista.
Estella was loved by all those whose lives she touched, and she will always be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Perez and Adelia Gaytan Perez; and her husband, Guadalupe Almager, Sr.
Estella is survived by her son, Guadalupe Almager, Jr. and wife, Esmeralda, of Levelland; son, Benito Almager and wife, Sandra, of Levelland; her daughter, Yolanda Frausto and husband, Valentin, of Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Espinoza and husband, Andres, of Levelland; her son, Arnulfo Almager and wife, Lacey, of Levelland; daughter, Beatrice Zapata Cardenas and husband, Adrian, Sr., of Alice; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and several step-siblings.
