Levelland Lobos fall to Lubbock Cooper

The Levelland Lobos suffered a loss to the Lubbock Cooper Pirates, 72-38, Tuesday night at home.

Zaiden LeCroy led the Lobos, scoring 16 points. Luis Otero added 10 points for the Lobos.

In the first quarter, the Lobos put five points on the board but were outscored by Lubbock Cooper with 27 points. The second quarter showed the Lobos gain some momentum, scoring 18 points, but the Pirates outdid the Lobos, scoring 22 points. The Lobos trailed 49-23 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Lobos scored 11 points while Lubbock Cooper added 14 points to their lead. In the final stanza, the Lobos scored four points and the Pirates solidified their win, scoring nine points. The Lobos fell 72-38.

The Lobos will travel to Dimmitt Friday night.
