Memorial services for Lupe De Los Santos, 72, of Levelland, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Brownfield.
The services were officiated by Rev. Eddie Chavarria.
He passed away on Jan. 30, 2021, in Levelland.
Lupe was born April 11, 1948, in Charlotte, Texas, to Rodulfo and Guillerma De Los Santos.
He farmed for 20 years and then changed careers and did home remodeling and construction. He was retired and volunteered at the Hockley County Food Box.
He enjoyed fishing and meeting people. He never met a stranger. He befriended everyone he talked to.
Lupe enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his sons: Daniel De Los Santos of Sundown, and Wally De Los Santos and wife, Barbara, of Levelland; daughters, Theresa Blessing of Whiteface and Marisel Garcia and husband, Fernando, of Lovington, New Mexico; sisters: Lidia De Los Santos and Gloria Gonzales, both of Plains and Diana Guerra and husband, Miguel, of Wolforth; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lupe was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister, Elsa Lucio; and a granddaughter, Sara DeLos Santos.
