Funeral services for Rodney Clark Fralin, 84, formerly of Morton, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, at First Baptist Church in Morton, with Rush Coffman of Morton officiating.

Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock.

He passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, at The Gardens at Brookridge in Pharr, Texas.

Rodney was born May 16, 1936, to A.A. and Venita Clark Fralin in Levelland.

He graduated from Morton High School.

In 1959, he graduated from The University of Texas Pharmacy School of Austin.

Rodney owned and operated Fralin’s Pharmacy in Morton for more than 50 years.

He loved Ruidoso, New Mexico and was an avid snow skier.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Loy Scott Fralin; two sisters, Tommie Boone and June Ingram; and a brother, A.A. ‘Joe’ Fralin, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Joe Kern Fralin and his wife, Tatiana, of Mission, Texas; and his two grandchildren, Hadley Fralin and Jacob Fralin.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church in Morton, 202 SE First Street, Morton, Texas, 79346.

    Prayers to the family of Mr Fralin. I remember him from a child growing up in Morton. He was a wonderful man. God needed him more and he is in the Best care. Prayers and love are with you always.
