Jonathan Michael Mullenix

Jonathan Michael Mullenix, 38, of Shallowater, went to Heaven Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He was born August 9, 1982, to Raymon Mullenix, Jr. and Darla Ann Nichols.
Jon attended Littlefield ISD, Whitharral ISD and Frenship ISD.
He married Leah Ann Esquibel February 25, 2000, and together they had two sons, Aiden and Anthony.
Jon was a wonderful dad, he loved to watch ‘Impractical Jokers’ with his sons and loved being with family.
He was an avid sports fan, especially golf, but would watch any sport that was on the TV. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He also liked playing poker and eating menudo.
Most of all, Jon loved the Lord and would witness to people any chance he was given. He attended Bibles and Boots Cowboy Church in Levelland.
Jon is survived by his wife, Leah Mullenix of Shallowater; their two sons, Aiden Mullenix and Anthony Mullenix, both of Shallowater; dad, Ray Mullenix of Shallowater; mom, Darla Redger and husband, Charles, of Washington; sister, Jill Demel and husband, John, of Levelland; niece, Abi Demel; and numerous extended family and friends.
Waiting for him in Heaven is a brother, Darrell Ray Mullenix; paternal grandparents, Raymon and Nelda Mullenix; and maternal grandparents, Darrell and Virginia Nichols.
Services to celebrate the life Jon lived, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Grace Chapel in Hillcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

    Sending my condolence’s to Jonathans family, I knew him briefly and we hung out on a couple occasions, and he was an outstanding father, this i do know and he would give a stranger the shirt off his back, its just the kind of man Jonathan was. He will be dearly missed by me and many more…. Rest In Peace Jonathan, i wish I could of been more of a friend and been around alot more. Miss you…
