Funeral services for Zelma Faye Phillips, 83, of Levelland, will be held Monday, October 4, at 10 a.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Trice officiating.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the
City of Levelland Cemetery.
Zelma passed in to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2021, in Levelland.
She was born in Littlefield on October 19, 1937, to Lewis George and Lois Edna Harris. She was the fourth of four daughters.
Zelma graduated from Bula High School in Enochs, Texas, in 1956.
She married the love of her life, Joe Don Phillips, September 15, 1957, at the Enochs Baptist Church.
Zelma was a devoted homemaker and worked at Your Shop in Levelland.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.
Zelma loved Jesus, her family, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and cats.
She enjoyed cooking, being a housewife and helping Joe Don on the farm.
She also loved having her family home for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.
Zelma is survived by her husband, Joe Don Phillips; son, Greg and wife, Roxann, of Levelland, Keith and wife, Julie, of Plano and Brad and wife, Misty, of Lubbock; three grandsons: Shawn, Dillon and Cole; four granddaughters: Kayla, Nicole, Niqui and Miranda; and three great-grandchildren: Ember, Jade and Titus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters: Francis Riley, Neva Brannan and her twin, Delma Harris.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Krestridge Funeral Home, 806-897-1111.
