John Anthony Cirilo, 35, was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison in the U.S. Northern District Court Thursday for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Cirilo was indicted for the charge in May, which stemmed from a January arrest by the Department of Public Safety.
Special agents executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Hicks Place on January 14 in Levelland. Cirilo was arrest for manufacture, delivery, of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams.
He was also arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. Cirilo was indicted for those charges by a Hockley County grand jury Tuesday.
According to the arrest warrant from January, Cirilo was found in possession of methamphetamine weighing 44.5 grams. Agents also located 10 bags that had been broken down into smaller amounts for sale, according to reports.
