Sonnenburg defeats Myatt by single vote

The final results for the Levelland City Council District A seat are in and show Devin Sonnenburg, the challenger, has defeated Jim Myatt, the incumbent, by one vote. The results were as follows:

Jim Myatt: 67 votes
Devin Sonnenburg: 68 votes

The votes will be canvassed at a future city council meeting, at which time the new council member will be sworn into office.
