The Levelland Main Street is proud to present the 19th Annual, original, TDA Best Promotional Event Award winning, Ladies Night Out.
Under the twinkling lights of the square, each store involved will roll out a red carpet as decorated wreaths adorn the doors and doormen, tip a hat, lend a hand and open a door in the most chivalrous of manners. Ladies can expect to be whisked from location to location in carts driven by volunteers.
For those who need to take packages to the car, just flag one of the carts driven by the volunteers. From there, the volunteers will be able to return attendees to the square.
There will be 15 locations ready to serve gourmet goodies, adult beverages in-store, have amazing in store promotions, fun raffles and experiences. Individuals are encouraged to bring their friends, get ready to shop and enjoy downtown Levelland, November 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
For every $50 spent at every location, that individual will get a raffle ticket. Fill it out, drop in the half with the attendees name, in the box at the counter of any participating merchant. The ticket can also be taken to the gazebo. At 8:45pm, a drawing will be held for the $250 Downtown Dollar winner. The winner of the drawing must be present to win.
This annual event came to fruition thanks to Mary Shakespeare, Toni Methvin and Meleta Atchison who had an idea to do an exclusive, invitational event, years ago and had no idea what to expect. Amidst snow fall and fear that no one would be able to attend, they were blown away, and not by the snow filled West Texas winds. The ladies not only came, but there was standing room only in the participating locations. Years later, Ladies Night Out is one of the most talked about and well attended events.
