Lubbock added to Strait concert tour

King of Country George Strait announced he has added a 2026 performance to be held in Lubbock.

Strait will be joined at Texas Tech Jones AT&T by 3-time Grammy winner Miranda Lambert and newcomer Hudson Westbook on April 25, 2026.

With fewer shows each year, Stait had only five live shows in 2025 but still draws one of the largest single-tick-eted concerts in the U.S. Strait has been known for his touring career beginning when he designed a 360-degree configuration and introduced festival style tours. His final concert for The Cowboy Rides Away Tour at AT&T Stadium drew 104,793 people, setting a new record for the largest indoor concert in North America.

In mid-2024, Strait set the record for the largest ticketed concert for a single act in U.S. history, with over 110,905 people at Texas A&M Kyle Field in College Station and was additionally was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the same year for its class of 2025.

Tickets will go on sale via georgestrait.com at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21.
