The excitement of the holiday season meets the spirit of competition at the 11 Annual Christmas Cash Classic Pig Show, taking place December 20-22, 2024, at the Mallet Event Center.
This highly anticipated event will bring together competitors, families, and spectators for a weekend of exceptional showmanship and festive cheer. Over 1,500 guests are expecting to attend, filling Levelland and are hotels.
The event kicks off on Friday, December 20, with all pigs moving in. On Saturday, December 21, Ring A and Showmanship contests will set the stage, with judge David Ammann presiding. Sunday, December 22, will feature Ring B competitions and a special Church service at 9 a.m., with judging by Ben Lenig.
This year’s top prizes include a $1,500 banner and buckle for the Grand Champion and a $750 banner and buckle for the Reserve Grand Champion. Competitors are reminded to bring their own shavings for the event.
“We are thrilled to welcome participants and spectators to Levelland for the 11 year of this cherished tradition,” said Bret Lamkin. “The Christmas Cash Classic is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of talent, hard work, and community spirit during the holiday season.”
Per Mary Siders, President of the Levelland Chamber of Commerce, “it’s a pleasure to have these guests in Levelland. Their presence is a huge shot in economic activity. It’s terrific to see these families coming here to show their swine and spend the weekend in our community.”
