Annual Sip & Swirl event set October 11, tickets available

The annual Levelland Sip & Swirl event is roughly two weeks out and tickets are currently available for purchase.

There are two ticket options (you must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket): VIP ($100) and General Admission ($45).

General Admission begins at 6 p.m. and the event lasts until 9:30p.m. Tickets include one commemorative wine glass, one commemorative wine bag, 10 complementary tastings of wine, beer or champagne from any of the participating wineries and samples of food from participating stops.

All ticket holders must checkin at Swirl Registration to get their Swirl Swag and wristband for tastings. Swirl Registration is open from 6 p.m.-7:30p.m. at Lobo Graphics located at 607 Avenue G. Participants are advised to buy tickets in advance, as they are limited. Tickets will be available at the door for $45 unless sold out.

VIP ticket holders will have a unique experience that begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. Tickets include all the above-mentioned Swirl Swag and other amenities, plus exclusive entry to Prairie Chick Winery an hour before General Admission begins with heavy hor d’oeuvres. VIP tickets are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance. VIP tickets will not be sold at the door.

All tickets are available online (www.downtownlevelland.com) or individuals may purchase them from the Main Street office located inside City Hall, located at 1709 Ave H in Levelland.

When arriving to the event, parking is available anywhere outside of the barricades. Also look for signs that will lead to a designated parking lot for additional Swirl parking. ADA parking is available at the old Farmer’s Market lot located at the corner of 5th and Ave G.

Wineries include McPherson Cellars, Prairie Chick Winery, Bolen Vineyards, Triple D Winery, English Newson and Yellow House Cellars. There will also be champagne and craft beer samples along with a Southern Comfort/ Cigar Bar.

Downtown businesses include Atchison’s Jewelry, Our Stuff, T&S Craft & Antique Mall, Your Shop, Ancient Earth Art Gallery, K’s Glamour, Lobo Graphics and pop-up vendors at Studebakers. The Wallace Theater will be hosting a wine pull fundraiser for programming and restoration projects. Tickets are one for $20 or two for $30. Each ticket purchased is guaranteed a bottle of wine.

Tipsy Taxi golf carts will be available around the Square to escort individuals from Swirl Stop to Swirl Stop, and if shopping bags get to heavy, they’ll give attendees a lift to their vehicle.

All proceeds from this event benefit downtown Levelland revitalization.
