The Levelland City Council will be holding a regular meeting on May 4. Prior to the meeting, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2466 are expected to make a presentation.
Several items on the action agenda are expected to be considered, including the Quarterly Financial Report, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority, and Ordinance No. 1115 adopting a local amendment defining tiny homes.
A public meeting is scheduled regarding Ordinance No.1116 to amend certain zoning regulations to establish a new zoning ordinance and zoning map in accordance with local government code and the City of Levelland Comprehensive Plan. No action will be taken until May 11.
The city manager is expected to give staff updates, recognitions and items of community interest.
