The City of Levelland is looking for citizens wishing to be involved in the various City boards and commissions for the next term.
Each year, the Levelland City Council appoints members of the community to the various City boards and commissions. City boards with openings include: Main Street Advisory Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Levelland Community Development Corporation, Cemetery Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, and TIF Board 1 (Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone).
“We are looking for energetic people to join our boards. It is so important to the city to have this participation. It is also a great way for citizens to learn more about the inner workings of city government,” said Andréa Corley, City Secretary. “We are asking any citizens who have an interest in being involved to turn in a volunteer interest form.”
