Grand jury hands down 15 indictments

The Hockley grand jury convened on Oct. 22 at the Hockley County Courthouse and sent down 15 indictments for individuals with varying charges that included evading arrest, possession of controlled substances, and assault. Indictments include: Aron Fitts, DOB Feb. 25, 1992, was indicted on the charge of tampering with evidence, possession of controlled substance.

Mary Lou Zamora, DOB Oct. 16, 1994, was indicted for the charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction.

Kevin Olivas, DOB Nov. 12, 1993, was indicted for the charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

Zacarias Garza III, DOB Oct. 30, 1990, was indicted for the charge of prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

Jedidah Adams, DOB April 1, 1987, indicted for the charge of evading arrest with motor vehicle.

Kevin Olivas, DOB Nov. 12, 1993, indicted for the charge of assault on a family member by impeding breath.

Daniel Puga, DOB Nov. 2, 1984, indicted for the charge of evading arrest with motor vehicles.

Cisco Landin, DOB May 15, 2003, indicted for the charge of assault on a family member by impeding breath.

Michael DeLeon, DOB Aug. 24, 2001, indicted for the charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and burglary of a building.

David Johnson, DOB Jan. 29, 1956, indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Luis Solano, DOB Sept. 23, 1961, indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Marco Ramirez, DOB April 11, 1987, indicted for the charge of evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

Jeremy Castro, DOB Nov. 11, 1986, indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Oney Marquez, DOB April 26, 1985, indicted for the charge of possession of a controlled substance.
