8/4/2024-HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Around 1:52 p.m., dispatch advised a complainant was requesting to speak with a deputy in reference to a sexual offense that had already occurred. Dispatch advised the caller requested to speak with a deputy by phone call as their phone number was provided. A deputy made contact with the complainant. A report was generated as the result.
8/4/2024 - ANTON
Dispatch was contacted by UMC in Lubbock in reference to a child with injuries which occurred near Anton. Deputies made contact with the mother of the child and Child Protective Services by phone and generated a report.
8/1/2024 - LEVELLAND
Around 2:29 a.m., a deputy made a traffic stop in the Murphy’s parking lot. An arrest was made as a result for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one between one gram and four grams.
7/30/2024 - SUNDOWN
Around 9:38 a.m., dispatch advised law enforcement response was being requested to an address in the 100 block of West 3rd Street in Sundown. Dispatch reported the caller requested assistance regarding a physical disturbance. Dispatch further reported the female caller indicated the male half left the residence on foot and was last seen traveling eastbound. Deputies HCSO advised they would be en route to the reported address. Deputies contacted both parties and identified both. During the investigation of the incident, the male half was discovered to have an active protective order against him and was forbidden to be around the identified female subject. The male subject was subsequently arrested for violation of protective order.
7/29/2024 - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of US Highway 62/82. After conducting a roadside investigation an arrest was made for possession of marijuana, less than two onces.
